The Ovidio Music Institute offers an unparalleled learning experience using an innovative method called ‘The Ovidio Music System’. The method is divided into five sections:

 

1. Teach your fingers: this involves the acquisition of the basic techniques required to play the instruments

2. Teach your eyes: A good musician should be able to sight-read music

3. Teach your mind: The ability to see the ‘big picture’ so as to be able to sight-play which combines two unique skill sets: music reading and music making.

4. Teach your heart: A good musician can play without the sheet music so that they have the freedom to express themselves when they perform, whether it’s the baroque music of Bach or Justin Bieber’s pop music!

5. Teach your ear: The ability to play a piece of music which one has only ever heard.
